Cleaner

Role Purpose

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and methodical Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.

The role will focus on ensuring visitor and staff spaces remain clean, safe, hygienic, and well presented through effective and efficient daily cleaning routines.

There may also be opportunities for this role to complement the Facilities & Maintenance Assistant role to create a larger combined post, although hourly pay rates for each role would remain separate

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Hygiene

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across visitor areas
  • Carry out daily cleaning routines efficiently and thoroughly
  • Help ensure spaces remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming
  • Support end-of-day cleaning and close-down procedures

Site Support

  • Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies where required
  • Report maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly
  • Support a clean, organised, and positive working environment

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Willingness to work flexibly around operational needs, including weekends

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Experience in visitor, hospitality, or public environments
  • Welsh language skills desirable
