Volunteer 4×4 Tour Guide

Role Purpose

To safely guide participants on off-road 4×4 tours, delivering an engaging, informative, and enjoyable experience while promoting responsible driving and environmental awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead guided 4×4 tours across designated routes and terrains
• Ensure the safety of all participants, passengers, and vehicles
• Provide clear briefings on driving techniques and safety procedures
• Share knowledge about local landscapes, wildlife, and heritage
• Assess terrain conditions and adapt routes where necessary
• Demonstrate responsible off-road driving and environmental care
• Assist in basic vehicle recovery operations if required
• Represent the organisation in a professional and friendly manner

Key Skills & Experience

• 4×4 driving skills across varied terrain (mud, sand, rock, hills) are desirable but training will be given
• Good communication skills
• Calm decision-making under pressure
• Basic mechanical knowledge of 4×4 vehicles
• Experience in outdoor guiding, instruction, or volunteering (desirable)
